  1. Open CrypTool<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    2. First, we\u2019ll create RSA keys. Click on PKI >Generate keys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Select the RSA algorithm, with a bit length of 1024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Enter the details for the key pair to be created. They are the public and private key pair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. Click on Generate key pair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6. Click on \u201cShow Key Pair\u201d to see the key pair and the associated public certificate. The public certificate of the key pair is shown below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    RSA encryption:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Click on Encrypt > Asymmetric >RSA encryption.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      2. Choose the previously created key and click on Encrypt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      Encrypt text<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      To decrypt:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Click on Decrypt > Asymmetric >RSA decryption.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        2. Select the key pair to be decrypted and provide the key used during generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        3. Click on decrypt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
